Absolutly LOVE my Kindle Fire....Hubby got it for me for Mothers Day.
Best gift ever. Love to read on it, serf the web, play games , do
banking, pay bills, all of it. I have freinds with Ipads and this does
everything they do except take pictures. Will be getting my Hubby one
of the Kindle Fire HD for Christmas. Hes always stealing mine, so he
gonna get a new one. Recommend it to everyone. Great job Amazon

I have had the Fire HD for three weeks, it does everything I need. We
also have a last gen Fire in home. I was replaced an older iPod touch
which was getting to the point were newer apps would not run on it.
Amazon took in as a trade and credited our Amazon account.

7" device is my preferred device size. I did play with the full size iPad. It was too big to use as a reader in my opinion.

I read about half dozen bookks a year on it. I've used both the Prime Lending Library and The Audible/KIndle Interactive reading tool which is very cool yet adds expense.
Load and watch personal owned movies, purchase occasional selective movies for travel.
Stream movies and TV Episodes and play them on wide screen with a HDMI cable at home. We enjoy a lot of the BBC Mystery Theater content.
Play apps like Words with Friends as a way to keep in touch with family.

Browse through selected newspapers. I like to go to web sites vs. apps because mobile apps usually don't allow you to access comments. I enjoy reading comments in the sport sections.
